Open for play in 1906, Southern Pines Golf Course is one of Donald Ross’s earliest original course designs. Located in the center of the Village of Southern Pines, this vintage course has drawn locals, professionals and tourists alike since 1906. Renowned as an authentic American gem, it’s the third original course Donald Ross ever designed — after the front nine of Pinehurst #2 and the 18-hole Winchester Country Club course in 1901.Winding around a series of knolls and ridges, the course offers some of the most dramatic golf terrain in the Sandhills, making it difficult to tell where nature’s design ends and Ross’s begins.

Moving day…
A return to Talamore after it proved itself ready for a Random Cup tournament setting over the last two years. This year, Talamore was selected to provide the proper challenge for a tough moving day. With the possibility of wild scoring swings at every corner, this is just the type of track to mke your move….or lose sight of the lead. Keep it steady and try not to put your tournament chances out to pasture with the llamas.

Mid South is stepping up to host the Final Round this year. A traditional tournament host, Mid South has stood the test of time and will provide a familiar challenge to the Randoms vying for the 2024 Cup. Home to multiple US Open & US Amateur Qualifiers, it is only proper that the 2024 Champ will have to navigate one of Arnie’s toughest tracks to take home the glory.
Mid South’s clubhouse, quiet in this picture, will be teaming with fans and media from around the globe as they anxiously await the crowning of the 2023 Random Cup Champion.
